catch me
About:
“catch me” is a tender and playful duet that explores the most primal relationship we have: the one between our own soul and body.
"What if the greatest love affair of your life is between your own soul and body?” This question was posed to me by Renee Donovan, who invited me to present work in her program “Dear Body, Love Me” in September 2025. My answer was this: when I think of a great love affair I think of a journey, of walking partners, of life companions. From that exploration, “catch me” was born. This duet is an abstract depiction of the relationship between body and soul, one characterized by devotion, protectiveness, and the tension created by the fact the soul will eventually move on from or “get over” the body, but the body will never get over the soul.

Feel it, Returning
About:
"Feel it, Returning" is a solo informed by the following poem:
Feel it, returning. The sensations you boxed away some time ago. Do you remember? When you decided that numbness was safer? Emerge from your false haven; it's empty there. Make a decision to forgo the shielding. You didn’t mean to send joy away when you exiled fear and pain, did you? Put down the armor, and let sensation back in. Take a chance and feel it all, returning
